Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 9, 2026

EmergencyReady is designed to help individuals and families organize emergency information, including family details, medical information, emergency plans, meeting places, and emergency alerts.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use EmergencyReady.

No EmergencyReady Account

EmergencyReady does not create or maintain user accounts. The app does not require a username, password, Sign in with Apple, or any other EmergencyReady login.

The name entered during setup is part of a local device profile, not an account. EmergencyReady may use your existing Apple iCloud account for optional synchronization and family sharing, but EmergencyReady does not create, manage, or control your Apple account.

Information You Provide

EmergencyReady may store information that you choose to enter, including:

Local Profile Information

Your personal EmergencyReady profile, including your name, phone number, and email address, is stored locally on your device.

Your name may be used as the sender name when sending an emergency alert to members of your shared EmergencyReady family. Phone number and email address are optional and are not used as account credentials.

iCloud and CloudKit

EmergencyReady uses Apple iCloud and CloudKit to synchronize supported emergency information between Apple devices.

If you choose to use EmergencyReady's family-sharing functionality, certain family information may be shared through Apple's CloudKit sharing system with people you explicitly invite.

EmergencyReady does not operate its own external server for storing your family emergency information.

Family Sharing

If you invite another person to your EmergencyReady family, they may be able to access information contained in the shared family, including family member information, medical information, emergency plans, meeting locations, emergency checklists, and emergency alerts.

You are responsible for deciding who you invite to your shared EmergencyReady family.

Medical Information

EmergencyReady may contain medical information that you choose to enter for yourself or family members.

This information is intended only to help organize emergency information. EmergencyReady is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Emergency Alerts

EmergencyReady allows family members to send emergency alerts within a shared family.

Emergency alert information may include the sender's name, the time the alert was sent, and an emergency-alert message.

EmergencyReady may use notifications and Apple's notification services to notify users of emergency alerts.

EmergencyReady does not contact emergency services such as 911 on your behalf unless a feature explicitly states otherwise.

PIN Security

EmergencyReady allows you to create a PIN to protect access to the app.

Your EmergencyReady PIN is stored securely using Apple's Keychain services on your device. EmergencyReady does not store your PIN in CloudKit or share it with members of your EmergencyReady family.

Face ID, Touch ID, and Biometric Authentication

EmergencyReady may allow you to use Face ID, Touch ID, or another supported Apple biometric-authentication method to unlock the app.

Biometric authentication is handled by Apple's operating system. EmergencyReady does not receive, store, or have access to your fingerprint, facial-recognition data, or other biometric information.

Notifications

EmergencyReady may request permission to send notifications. Notification permissions are controlled through iOS Settings and may be disabled at any time.

Tracking and Advertising

EmergencyReady does not use your personal information for targeted advertising.

EmergencyReady does not sell your personal information and does not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

EmergencyReady relies on Apple services including:

Data Retention

Information entered into EmergencyReady remains stored on your device and, where applicable, in your Apple iCloud storage until you delete it or remove the associated data.

Deleting Your Data

EmergencyReady does not create an EmergencyReady account, so there is no separate EmergencyReady account to delete.

Editable information can be removed or changed within the app where those controls are available. You can also remove the app from your device to remove locally stored EmergencyReady information.

Information synchronized through Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services is associated with your Apple iCloud storage and may also be managed through your Apple account and iCloud settings.

If you have questions about removing EmergencyReady data, you may contact danumpi.dev@gmail.com .

Children's Privacy

EmergencyReady is intended to help families organize emergency information. The app does not knowingly collect information from children for advertising, tracking, or marketing purposes.

Adults using EmergencyReady are responsible for information they choose to enter about family members, including minors.

Security

EmergencyReady uses security features provided by Apple, including Keychain, app authentication, and iCloud/CloudKit security.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if EmergencyReady's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
